Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 3 Tbsp
- granulated sugar - 1 c
- brown sugar - 3/4 c
- oleo - 10 Tbsp
- dark Karo syrup - 3 Tbsp
- refrigerator biscuits 10 count - 3 pkg
How to make monkey bread:
In 2-quart casserole, melt 2 tablespoons oleo. Add enough walnuts and pecans (chopped) to cover bottom of casserole. Cut refrigerator biscuits in quarters. Place on top of nuts. Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon together. Shake mixture over biscuits.In saucepan melt 1/2 cup (8 tablespoons) butter, 3/4 cup brown sugar and 3 tablespoons dark Karo syrup. Pour over biscuits. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
