Layered cauliflower salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 Tbsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1/3 c
- mayonnaise - 1 c
- medium head cauliflower - 1 item
- bacon, cooked and crumbled - 1/2 lb
- large purple onion, chopped - 1 item
- medium head iceberg lettuce, torn in bite size pieces - 1 item
How to make layered cauliflower salad:
Cut cauliflower into flowerets. Layer lettuce, onion, cauliflower and bacon in a 3-quart bowl. Combine mayonnaise, sugar and cheese. Spread evenly over top, sealing to edge of bowl. Sprinkle with more cheese. Refrigerate. Toss gently before serving. Yields 8 to 10 servings.Recipe categories: Salads, Vegetables, Cauliflower.
