Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 6 Tbsp
- eggs - 4 item
- can sweetened condensed milk - 1 item
- cream of tartar - 1/2 tsp
- lime juice - 1/2 c
How to make key lime pie:
Preheat oven to 350°. Beat egg yolks; add condensed milk and lime juice. Beat until thick. Beat 1 egg white until stiff and fold into mixture. Pour into baked pie shell. Put pie in oven 8 minutes to firm. Beat 3 egg whites. Blend in sugar and cream of tartar. Beat until stiff and forms peaks.
