Hot spiced tea
Ingredients/Components
- water - 16 c
- lemon juice - 3/4 c
- orange juice
- whole cloves - 2 Tbsp
- tea bags - 5 item
- can pineapple juice - 8 oz
- sticks cinnamon - 2 item
- sugar or less - 2 c
How to make hot spiced tea:
Steep tea bags in 8 cups water. Set aside. Mix cinnamon sticks and cloves in remaining water; bring to a boil and add sugar. Bring to a boil again for 3 to 5 minutes. Strain and mix with tea. Add orange juice, lemon juice and pineapple juice. Heat to almost boiling (a crock-pot works great; mixture can also be stored in a refrigerator and then heated at serving time.)Recipe categories: Drinks, Winter, Fall.
