Hot spiced tea
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- water
- cloves - 10 item
- allspice - 1 tsp
- oranges - 2 item
- lemons - 2 item
- tea bags - 10 item
How to make hot spiced tea:
Bring water to a boil in a large pot and remove from heat. Add tea bags and let stand for 5 minutes. Then remove tea bags. Squeeze oranges and lemons (save rinds). Return tea to heat and add sugar, lemon rinds and cloves in a cheesecloth bag and add to tea. Simmer for about 10 minutes. Remove cheesecloth bag and discard.
