Ingredients/Components

  • sugar
  • eggs - 6 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • milk
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • whipping cream - 2 c

How to make eggnog:

Beat egg yolks; add 1 cup sugar gradually. Add milk and cook over hot water until thick and coats spoon, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add vanilla. Whip cream and egg whites with 1/2 cup sugar separately and fold into cooled milk mixture. Add nutmeg to taste.
