Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 6 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- milk
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- whipping cream - 2 c
How to make eggnog:
Beat egg yolks; add 1 cup sugar gradually. Add milk and cook over hot water until thick and coats spoon, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add vanilla. Whip cream and egg whites with 1/2 cup sugar separately and fold into cooled milk mixture. Add nutmeg to taste.Recipe categories: Drinks, American, North american.
