  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • chocolate chips - 1 c
  • shortening - 1 c
  • plus 4 Tbsp - 2 c

How to make chocolate chip cookies:

Cream the shortening, sugar and vanilla. Add well beaten eggs. Cream in flour, soda and salt. Mix well; add chocolate chips. Drop on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375°.
