Cauliflower salad bowl
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 2 tsp
- lemon juice - 3 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onions - 1/2 c
- chopped green pepper - 2/3 c
- wine vinegar - 3 Tbsp
- chopped pimento - 1/2 c
- crisp salad greens - 1 item
- sliced ripe olives - 1 c
- salad or olive oil
- sliced raw cauliflower - 4 c
How to make cauliflower salad bowl:
Dressing:1/2 c. salad or olive oil3 Tbsp. lemon juice3 Tbsp. wine vinegar2 tsp. salt1/2 tsp. sugar1/4 tsp. pepper In medium bowl, combine cauliflower, olives, green pepper, pimento and onion.Dressing: In small bowl combine salad oil, lemon juice, vinegar, salt, sugar and pepper. Beat with wire whip until well blended. Pour over cauliflower mixture. Refrigerate covered until well chilled, 4 hours or overnight.
To serve: Spoon salad into bowl lined with salad greens. Toss just before serving. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
