  • sifted cake flour
  • Crisco - 2/3 c
  • mashed bananas - 2/3 c
  • cloves - 1/2 tsp
  • allspice - 1/2 tsp

How to make banana spice cake:

Measure ingredients in a bowl, except baking powder, eggs and milk, making all measurements level. Mix thoroughly for 2 minutes. Stir in baking powder, eggs and milk. Mix thoroughly. Bake at 375° for 40 minutes.
