Eggnog
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- milk
- nutmeg - 1 item
- egg yolks - 6 item
- egg whites - 6 item
- heavy cream, whipped - 2 c
- Jamaican rum - 1/2 c
- brandy, rye or whiskey - 1 c
How to make eggnog:
Beat egg yolks until thick and lemon colored. Beat in sugar. Slowly add brandy and rum. Cover and chill. Just before serving, fold in stiffly beaten egg whites, whipped cream and milk to thin. Place in punch bowl; sprinkle with nutmeg.Recipe categories: Drinks, American, North american.
