  • margarine, melted - 3/4 c
  • pecans, chopped - 3/4 c
  • box butter cake mix - 1 item

How to make yummy bars:

Filling:2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1 c. packed brown sugar3/4 c. pecans, chopped Preheat oven to 350°.

Crust: Mix ingredients. Press into buttered and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.

Filling: Mix the cream cheese and brown sugar with a spoon until smooth. (Cream cheese should be softened.) Spread mixture over crust. Sprinkle pecans over filling. Bake for 25 to 35 minutes, or until filling sets. Cool before cutting into bars. Store in refrigerator.
