Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- boiling water - 1 c
- plain flour - 6 c
- Crisco - 1 c
- warm water - 1 c
- dry yeast - 2 pkg
How to make yeast rolls:
Mix shortening, sugar and boiling water; set aside to cool. Dissolve yeast in 1 cup warm water. Beat eggs; pour yeast and flour into sugar and shortening mixture. Add eggs; mix well. Refrigerate overnight. Roll out dough; cut with pastry cutter. Dip in melted margarine; place in pan. Place pan and rolls in a warm place; let rise 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
