Whole wheat oatmeal cookies
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 3/4 c
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- raisins optional - 1 c
- margarine - 1 c
- nuts optional - 1/2 c
- oatmeal - 2 c
- whole wheat flour
How to make whole wheat oatmeal cookies:
Cream margarine and sugars. Add eggs and beat well. Stir dry ingredients together (except oatmeal) and add to sugar/egg mixture. Stir in oatmeal, nuts and raisins, if desired. Drop onto cookie sheets and bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 7 to 8 dozen.Recipe categories: Desserts, Drop cookies, Cookie and brownie.
