Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 3 c
- flour - 3/4 c
- butter
- cream - 2 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- parsley - 1 item
- lasagna noodles - 1 lb
- tarragon - 3/4 tsp
- dash of nutmeg - 1 item
- rosemary - 3/4 tsp
- broth
- bouillon cubes - 3 item
- ham - 1/4 lb
- Parmesan
- Beau Monde - 3/4 tsp
- chicken breasts, halved - 3 item
How to make white lasagna:
Sauce:1 c. butter3 c. milk1 1/2 c. broth3/4 tsp. tarragon1/2 tsp. pepper2 1/2 c. Parmesan3/4 c. flour2 c. cream3/4 tsp. rosemary3/4 tsp. Beau Monde dash of nutmeg Cook chicken in water with bouillon. Cool and dice. Reserve 1 1/2 cups broth. Cook lasagna. Cool and drain. Thaw spinach. Squeeze out moisture.Sauce: Melt butter. Blend in flour. Cook for 3 minutes. Add milk and seasonings, broth and cream. Stir until thick. Add Parmesan cheese. To assemble (I need a 9 x 13-inch and 8 x 10-inch) grease pans. Layer noodles, chicken, spinach, ham and sauce. Repeat, then top with 1 layer noodles and 1 layer sauce. Sprinkle additional Parmesan cheese on top. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
