Veal forestier
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1/4 c
- water - 2 Tbsp
- margarine - 4 Tbsp
- parsley - 1 Tbsp
- dry vermouth - 1/2 c
- mushrooms - 1/2 lb
- dash salt and pepper - 1 item
- veal - 1 lb
How to make veal forestier:
Cut veal into 2-inch pieces. Coat with flour. In skillet on medium heat in margarine, cook meat until light brown (2 minutes). Remove meat. Add more margarine, mushrooms, vermouth, water, salt and pepper and parsley. Cover and simmer 5 minutes until mushrooms are tender. Return meat to skillet. Heat through. Serve with rice.
