Ingredients/Components

  • butter - 6 Tbsp
  • slivered almonds - 4 Tbsp
  • lemons - 2 item
  • trout, washed and cleaned - 4 item
  • flour, seasoned with salt and pepper if desired - 4 Tbsp

How to make trout with almonds:

Roll the trout in the seasoned flour. Melt 4 tablespoons of the butter in a large frying pan. Fry the trout for about 5 minutes on each side or until well browned and cooked. Transfer the fish to a large serving dish and keep hot.

Add the remaining butter and when it has melted, add the juice of half a lemon. Add the almonds and fry, shaking the pan occasionally until the almonds are golden. Pour the almonds and butter over the trout. Garnish with the remaining lemons, cut into quarters.
