Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 c
- pecan halves - 1 qt
How to make toasted pecans:
Place pecans in a bowl. Sprinkle with salt and add water to cover pecans. Soak for 30 minutes, stirring twice. Drain on paper towels for 2 hours. Place on large cookie sheet. Bake at 300° for about 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes and watching carefully to keep from burning.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, Appetizers.
