Ingredients/Components
- basil - 1/2 tsp
- can sliced mushrooms, drained
- lasagna noodles - 8 oz
- diet margarine - 3 Tbsp
- cup chopped onion - 1/2 item
- cup chopped green pepper - 1/2 item
- cup grated Parmesan cheese - 1/2 item
- cup skim milk - 1/3 item
- cup chopped pimiento - 1/2 item
- 10 3/4 can condensed cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- 1/2 cup cream style lite cottage cheese - 1 item
- cups cooked chicken or turkey - 2 item
- 1/2 cup grated low fat American cheese - 1 item
- chili powder, optional - 1 tsp
How to make three cheese chicken bake:
Cook lasagna noodles in boiling, salted water according to package directions. Drain well. Cook onion and green pepper in diet margarine until tender. Stir in condensed soup, mushrooms, pimiento, skim milk and basil. Lay half the noodles in a 13 x 9 x 2 inch dish. Top with half the chicken, cheeses, and soup mixture. Repeat the process. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Top with remaining American and Parmesan cheese. Bake two minutes more or until cheese melts.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Poultry.
