Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onions - 1/2 c
- taco shells - 9 item
- shredded Cheddar cheese
- cumin - 1/4 tsp
- ground chuck beef - 1 lb
- green diced chili - 4 oz
- jar of picante sauce - 1 item
- shredded fine lettuce
- medium size tomato, cut in bite size wedges - 1 item
How to make tacos:
In heavy skillet, cook until well done the meat, chopped onions, salt, garlic powder and cumin, stirring often so meat will not be lumpy. Drain off grease and put 2 tablespoons of the meat into the taco shell, then add other ingredients in order as listed, putting picante sauce on last.
