Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1/3 tsp
- butter - 1/8 lb
- brown sugar, packed - 1 c
- eggs, well beaten - 3 item
- grated nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- large sweet potatoes - 3 item
How to make sweet potato pudding:
Boil potatoes until soft. Mash or whip them thoroughly and mix with all other ingredients. Put into a buttered baking dish and bake at 300° until firm. Brown the top under the broiler.This dish may be served hot as a vegetable or cooled as a dessert. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
