Ingredients/Components
- half and half - 3/4 c
- salt to taste - 1 item
- grated Swiss cheese - 1 c
- melted oleo - 1/4 c
- rice uncooked - 1/2 c
- chopped sweet onion - 7 8
How to make sweet onion casserole:
Cook rice in 1 cup boiling water 5 minutes; drain. Set aside. Cook onion in butter until limp. Combine all ingredients, mixing well. Pour into a greased 2-quart casserole dish. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Side dish, Casseroles.
