Sweet and sour pork
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 1/4 c
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- vinegar - 1/4 c
- cooking oil - 1 Tbsp
- hot water - 1 c
- 4 oz - 1 lb
- envelope onion soup mix - 1 item
- boneless pork, cut into 1-inch cubes
- medium green peppers, cut into thin strips - 2 item
How to make sweet and sour pork:
Heat cooking oil in skillet. Add green peppers. Cook 5 minutes. Combine soup mix in small bowl with water and liquid from pineapple. Add to skillet and simmer covered 5 minutes. Combine vinegar, sugar and cornstarch in bowl and stir into meat. Add pineapple; cover and simmer until thick.Recipe categories: Pineapple, Main dish, Pork.
