Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- salt
- dry mustard - 1 Tbsp
- cloves garlic, minced - 2 item
- ground beef - 4 lb
- oregano - 1 tsp
- black pepper - 1 tsp
- thyme - 1/2 tsp
- cup chopped onion - 3/4 item
- cup ketchup - 1 item
- cup olive oil - 1/4 item
- cup red wine vinegar - 1 item
- cup honey - 1 item
- cup Worcestershire sauce - 1/2 item
- small cans Italian bread crumbs - 1-1/2 item
How to make swedish meatballs:
Mix ground meat, eggs and bread crumbs and shape into small balls. (Mixture will be firm.) Bake at 425 degrees about 10-15 minutes.Heat oil; add onions and garlic. Saut?©. Add remaining ingredients in the order listed and cook about 20-30 minutes. Add meatballs to gravy and let stand several hours or overnight so that the gravy can be absorbed. Heat before serving. This will make about 300 meatballs.
