Stuffed turkey loaf
Ingredients/Components
- butter - 1/4 c
- water - 1/2 c
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chopped celery - 3/4 c
- ground turkey - 2 lb
- tomato juice - 1/2 c
- eggs, slightly beaten - 2 item
- prepared stuffing mix - 3 c
How to make stuffed turkey loaf:
Brown onion and celery in butter. Combine with the stuffing mix, eggs and water to make a stuffing. Add half of stuffing to ground turkey, mixing well. Pat half of meat mixture in a 2-quart loaf pan (4 1/2 x 8 1/2 x 3-inches) spread with stuffing, then top with remaining meat mixture. Pour tomato juice over loaf. Bake at 350° for 1 1/4 hours.
