- egg - 1 item
- garlic powder - 1 item
- pepper - 1 item
- chopped onion - 1 item
- bell peppers - 6 item
- ground beef
- tomato sauce - 8 oz
- cooked rice - 3 c
- onion powder - 1 item
- beef consomme
- garlic bread - 1 item
How to make stuffed peppers:
Clean peppers, removing inner membranes and seeds. Parboil peppers for 5 minutes. In large bowl, combine meat, seasonings, chopped onion, rice and egg. In saucepan, mix tomato sauce and consomme; heat. Add one cup sauce mix to meat and rice mixture. Stuff the peppers. Use remaining sauce mix to pour over stuffed peppers. Bake at 350° in uncovered (oiled dish) for 60 minutes. Serve with garlic bread.Recipe categories: Main dish, Ground beef, Beef.
