Stuffed mushrooms
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- butter or margarine - 1 Tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1/4 tsp
- soft bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- minced onion - 1/4 c
- chopped parsley - 1 tsp
- fresh mushrooms - 1 lb
- slices bacon, diced - 4 item
- minced green pepper - 2 Tbsp
How to make stuffed mushrooms:
Microwave Preparation: Wash and dry mushrooms; remove and chop stems. In large glass bowl, combine bacon, green pepper and onion. Cover with paper towels and cook on High (max) 4 minutes, stirring once. Drain off fat. Add cream cheese, Worcestershire and mushroom stems. Mix well. Fill mushroom caps with bacon mixture.In 2-cup glass measure, mix butter and bread crumbs. Add parsley. Cook on High (max) 1 minute. Press bread crumbs onto top of bacon mixture. Place in microwave baking dish. Cook on High (max) 1 to 2 minutes.
