Steak soup



Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- water - 5 c
- all-purpose flour - 1/2 c
- butter, melted - 1/2 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- salt to taste - 1 item
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- stalks celery, chopped - 4 item
- carrots, sliced - 3 item
- ground chuck, browned and drained - 2 lb
- cans diced tomatoes - 2 1/2
- beef bouillon granules - 5 Tbsp
How to make steak soup:
Place all ingredients, except butter, flour, and salt, into crock-pot Cover, cook on Low 8 to 12 hours (or High, 4 to 6 hours). One hour before serving, turn on to High. Make a paste of melted butter and flour. Stir well until smooth. Pour into crock-pot; stir until well blended. Season soup with salt if desired. Cover, cook on High until thickened.
