Spinach artichoke dip
Ingredients/Components
- cream cheese - 8 ozs
- stick butter - 1 item
- salt to taste - 1 item
- finely chopped onion - 1 item
- cup sour cream - 1-1/2 item
- cloves chopped garlic - 3 item
- cup Parmesan cheese - 3/4 item
- Monterey Jack cheese with jalapenos - 12 ozs
- cans artichoke hearts, drained and chopped fine - 2 item
- boxes frozen chopped spinach, cooked a little and drained - 2 item
- Small amount of evaporated milk if necessary for desired consistency - 1 item
How to make spinach artichoke dip:
Melt butter, add onions and garlic. Saut?© until wilted. Add spinach and artichokes. Cook about 3-5 minutes. Remove from heat. Add remaining ingredients. Blend well. Heat to melt cheese in microwave or on low heat. Serve with tortilla chips. Sour cream and salsa optional.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Dips, Cheese.
