Spiced meatballs


Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- cider vinegar - 1/4 c
- eggs, well beaten - 2 item
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- catsup - 1 Tbsp
- Parmesan cheese - 1 Tbsp
- chili sauce - 1/2 c
- finely chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
- Accent - 1/2 tsp
- seasoned bread crumbs - 3/4 c
- drops hot pepper sauce - 4 item
- ground chuck or beef - 1 lb
- brown sugar * - 1/2 c
How to make spiced meatballs:
Sauce:3 Tbsp. butter or margarine1/2 c. chili sauce1/4 c. cider vinegar1/2 c. brown sugar *2 Tbsp. finely chopped onion1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce1 tsp. Accent4 drops hot pepper sauce1/4 tsp. pepper *I only use 4 teaspoons brown sugar as it is sweet with 1/2 cup brown sugar.Meatballs: Mix all meat ingredients well and shape into 1-inch balls. Saute in butter until brown (1 stick of butter or margarine). Drain well. Set aside until sauce is made.
Combine sauce ingredients in a large saucepan to boiling, then reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Add meatballs to sauce and simmer for 10 minutes. This recipe can be doubled for larger serving. Serve with spaghetti or noodles.
