South of the border dip
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- lemon juice - 2 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- taco seasoning mix - 1 pkg
- avocados - 3 med
- cup mayonnaise - 1/2 item
- sharp cheddar cheese, grated - 8 oz
- cup sour cream - 1 item
- tomatoes, chopped fine - 3 med
- cans black olives - 2 oz
- jalapeno bean dip - 2 (10-1/2
- bunch shallots, chopped - 1 item
How to make south of the border dip:
Blend avocados, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Combine sour cream, mayonnaise and taco mix. Blend bean dip until smooth. Spread in a 9x13 dish in the following order: bean dip, avocado mixture, sour cream mixture, shallots, tomatoes, olives and cheese.
