Sourdough biscuits
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- salt - 2 tsp
- oil - 3/4 c
- soda - 1/4 tsp
- buttermilk - 2 c
- baking powder - 4 tsp
- warm water - 1 c
- yeast - 1 pkg
- or more flour - 6 c
How to make sourdough biscuits:
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add sugar. Combine all other ingredients. Stir with spoon until all mixed together. Use a bowl with lid. Keep in refrigerator. Will keep about 10 days.One cup of dough will make about 6 biscuits. Knead on floured board. Do not have to let rise before baking. Bake at 425° for 10 to 12 minutes.
