Sour cream coffee cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1 c
- butter or margarine - 1/4 lb
- chopped nuts - 2 Tbsp
- flour
- baking powder
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- eggs, beaten light - 2 item
How to make sour cream coffee cake:
Topping:1/4 c. sugar1 tsp. cinnamon2 Tbsp. chopped nuts Cream butter or margarine and sugar together. Add beaten eggs. Add baking soda and sour cream. Add sifted flour and baking powder. Add vanilla.Mix topping ingredients. Pour half batter into pan. Sprinkle with half topping. Swirl. Pour on remaining batter. Sprinkle with rest of topping.
Bake at 350° for 45 minutes in greased tube pan. Allow cake to cool one hour in oven.
