Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- head cauliflower, cut in small flowerets - 1 item
- red onion, sliced thinly - 1 item
- frozen peas not thawed - 2 c
- bacon, fried crisp and broken in pieces - 1 lb
- head lettuce, cut in small pieces - 1 item
- Parmesan cheese for best flavor, buy in deli - 3/4 c
- mayonnaise may use reduced calorie
How to make seven layer salad:
Dressing:2 c. mayonnaise (may use reduced calorie)1/4 c. sugar In a large bowl, make layers of lettuce, cauliflower, onion, bacon and peas. Start and end with lettuce. Spread dressing over top of last layer. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top of dressing. Cover and let set overnight. Minimum time to set is 4 hours.
