Ingredients/Components
- hot water
- can Eagle Brand condensed milk - 1 item
- Knox gelatine - 6 pkg
- box orange jello - 1 item
- box lemon jello - 1 item
- box cherry jello - 1 item
- box lime jello - 1 item
How to make seven layer jello:
To each package of jello, add 1 package Knox gelatine and 1 cup boiling water.Mix Eagle Brand condensed milk, 2 packages Knox gelatine and 1 3/4 cups hot water. Pour lime jello mixture into 9 x 13-inch pan. Refrigerate until set (about 20 minutes).
For second layer, pour 1/3 of milk mixture and refrigerate approximately 20 minutes.
Third layer: lemon jello mixture.
Fourth layer: 1/3 of milk mixture.
Fifth layer: orange jello mixture.
Sixth layer: remaining 1/3 of milk mixture.
Seventh layer: cherry jello mixture.
Refrigerate 20 minutes after each layer. When pouring on next layer, be sure mixture is not too warm as it will melt the already jelled layers. Layer being poured on should be cool, but not yet jelled.
