Ingredients/Components

  • half and half - 1 c
  • milk - 3 c
  • salt - 2 tsp
  • pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • dry white wine - 1 c
  • clove garlic - 1 item
  • minced parsley - 2 Tbsp
  • chopped green onion - 1/2 c
  • thyme - 1/2 tsp
  • shrimp - 1/4 lb
  • minced clams - 8 oz
  • diced potatoes - 2 c
  • can creamed corn - 1 oz
  • strips bacon, diced - 4 item
  • king crab meat - 6 7

How to make seafood chowder:

Drain crab, shrimp and clams, reserving liquids. Slice crab with sharp knife. Cook bacon and garlic in large saucepan until bacon is crisp. Add potatoes and reserved liquids from seafood, wine, salt, pepper and thyme. Cover; simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, until potatoes are tender. Add crab, shrimp, clams, corn, milk, half and half, onion and parsley. Heat to simmer. Serves 6 to 8.
