Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- butter or margarine - 6 Tbsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- baking powder - 1 Tbsp
How to make scones:
Stir together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly. Mix in eggs and milk. Knead dough gently on a lightly floured surface. Roll or pat dough into 1/2 inch thick rounds. Bake at 400° for 10 to 12 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Scones.
