Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- melted butter - 1 tsp
- carton sour cream - 1 oz
- chopped onions - 1 c
- seasoned croutons
- peeled, chopped tomatoes
- cheese flavor cracker crumbs - 1/2 c
How to make scalloped tomato casserole:
Layer half each of tomatoes, onions, cracker crumbs, sugar and salt in a 1 1/2-quart casserole. Repeat with remaining half. Bake at 325° for 20 minutes. Spread sour cream on top; sprinkle croutons on sour cream. Spoon melted butter on top of croutons. Bake an additional 10 minutes.
