Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- salt
- all-purpose flour - 1/3 c
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- ham - 3 c
- to 8 medium potatoes - 6 item
How to make scalloped potatoes:
Peel potatoes. Thinly slice potatoes to measure 6 cups. Place half of the potatoes in a greased 2-quart casserole. Add half the onion. Sift half the flour and add to ham and vegetables in casserole; sprinkle with half the salt and pepper. Repeat layers. Pour milk over all. Cover and bake in a 350° oven for 1 1/2 hours. Uncover and continue baking 15 to 30 minutes longer or until potatoes are done. Makes 6 servings.Recipe categories: Low protein, Potato, Vegetables.
