- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1 item
- Cheddar cheese - 8 oz
- large onions - 4 item
- large eggs, beaten - 3 item
- butter flavored crackers
- butter 1/4 and 1/4 divided - 1/2 c
How to make scalloped onions:
Brown onions after slicing in 1/4 cup butter. In a 9 x 13-inch casserole, press crackers to make crust. Place onions on top; sprinkle cheese on top. Pour milk and eggs over top. Also the other 1/4 cup butter. Bake 35 to 40 minutes at 350°.Recipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, Onions.
