Sausage rice casserole
Ingredients/Components
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- sausage - 1 lb
- cup rice - 1 item
- cans beef consomme, or, 1 can beef consomme and 1 can water - 2 item
- small can mushrooms, optional - 1 item
How to make sausage rice casserole:
brown sausage, drain off fat. Combine with rice, consomme, onion and mushrooms in a 9 x 13 dish. Cover with foil and bake at 400° for 45 minutes. Stir gently before serving.Good when weather is cold.
