Sauerkraut balls
Ingredients/Components
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- parsley flakes - 1 Tbsp
- caraway seed - 2 tsp
- onion, finely chopped - 1/2 c
- clove garlic, finely chopped - 1 item
- slices bacon - 8 item
- hot oil - 1 item
- can sauerkraut, drained - 1 oz
- mashed potatoes or more - 1/2 c
- Special K cereal, crushed
How to make sauerkraut balls:
Fry bacon until crisp; drain and crumble. Pour off all but 2 tablespoons fat. Saut?© onion and garlic until tender. Stir in bacon, sauerkraut, potatoes and parsley. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper lined baking sheet and form into a ball. Cover with waxed paper and refrigerate until firm. Mix cereal and caraway seed.
