Saucy meatballs
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- lean ground beef - 1 lb
- seasoned bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- grated parmesan cheese - 2/3 c
- Heinz 57 sauce - 1/2 c
- can tomatoes, cut into bite size pieces
- hot butter noodles - 1 item
How to make saucy meatballs:
Combine first five ingredients. Shape into 20 small meatballs. Brown well in oil. Drain excess fat. Sprinkle flour over meatballs, stir gently to coat meatballs. Combine tomatoes, Heinz 57 sauce, sugar and salt; pour over meatballs. simmer uncovered 25 minutes or until sauce is of desired consistency, stirring occasionally.
