Salmon croquettes
Ingredients/Components
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- corn meal - 1 item
- oil to fry - 1/4 c
- can pink salmon, including liquid - 1 item
- egg to bake - 1 item
- lemon to bake - 1 item
- water to bake - 1 Tbsp
How to make salmon croquettes:
Mix corn meal with the salmon; add corn meal to absorb liquid and form into soft patties. Add salt and pepper to taste. Patties may be fried or baked.Fry: Use hot cooking oil in frying pan. Place patties in hot oil and cook, turning each until brown.
Bake: Place patties on cookie sheet. Brush top of patties with mixture of beaten egg with water. Bake in a 350° oven until brown. For added flavor, squeeze lemon juice over them and allow to absorb before eating.
