sugar - 4 c
vanilla - 1 tsp
pkg - 1 oz
evaporated milk
chopped walnuts - 2 c
large marshmallows, divided - 35 item
margarine - 1/2 lb

How to make rocky road candy:

Cut 15 marshmallows into fourths and put on a tray in the freezer. In a large glass bowl, cut the margarine into the chocolate chips. Set aside.

Bring to a boil the sugar, milk and 20 whole marshmallows. Boil rapidly for 5 full minutes, stirring constantly. Pour over butter and chip mixture. Stir until it starts to thicken. Add vanilla and nuts. Add frozen marshmallow pieces and mix a little. Pour into a buttered pan and place in refrigerator until set.
