Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- vanilla - 1/4 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- melted butter - 2 Tbsp
- raisins - 3/4 c
- cooked rice
- dash of nutmeg - 1 item
- dash of cinnamon - 1 item
- milk, scalded - 2 c
How to make rice pudding:
Mix first 5 ingredients. Add scalded milk and butter. Add a dash each of cinnamon and nutmeg. Pour into a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish. Bake at 350° for about 1 hour or until mixture is firm. Makes 6 servings.Recipe categories: Desserts, Puddings and mousses, Rice.
