Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- bell pepper - 1/2 c
- onion - 1 c
- can tomatoes - 1 item
- celery - 1/3 c
- Cheddar cheese - 3/4 c
- long grain rice, cooked - 1 c
How to make rice and cheese casserole:
Saute onion, bell pepper and celery in butter. With a buttered casserole dish, put rice on bottom, then 1/3 of the cheese, tomatoes, onion, pepper and celery mixture. Repeat until all ingredients are used. Bake at 350° until hot and bubbly.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Rice.
