Ingredients/Components
- vinegar - 1 c
- celery seed - 1 tsp
- mustard seed - 1 Tbsp
- canning salt - 2 Tbsp
- sliced onions - 1 c
- cups sugar - 2 item
- sliced green peppers - 1 c
- cups sliced cucumbers do not peel - 8 item
How to make refrigerator pickles:
Mix cucumbers and canning salt together and let sit at room temperature for two hours. Do not add water. Drain and rinse out salt. Add remaining ingredients and stir. Store in refrigerator. Best flavor if you wait a couple of weeks before serving.Recipe categories: Vegetables, Summer, Seasonal.
