Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- milk - 2 c
- cornstarch - 3 Tbsp
- egg yolks - 3 item
- raisins - 1/2 c
- lemon juice - 2 tsp
- pastry shell - 1 item
- Whisk in the egg yolks and milk until thoroughly combined
How to make raisin custard pie:
In a medium saucepan, combine sugar and cornstarch. Whisk in the egg yolks and milk until thoroughly combined. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil. Boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Add lemon juice and raisins. Pour into pie shell.Meringue:3 egg whites1/4 c. sugar Beat egg whites in a small bowl until foamy. Gradually add sugar, one tablespoon at a time, beating until stiff and glossy. Spread over warm pie.
