  • egg yolks - 3 item
  • raisins - 1/2 c
  • lemon juice - 2 tsp
  • pastry shell - 1 item
  • Whisk in the egg yolks and milk until thoroughly combined

How to make raisin custard pie:

In a medium saucepan, combine sugar and cornstarch. Whisk in the egg yolks and milk until thoroughly combined. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil. Boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Add lemon juice and raisins. Pour into pie shell.Meringue:3 egg whites1/4 c. sugar Beat egg whites in a small bowl until foamy. Gradually add sugar, one tablespoon at a time, beating until stiff and glossy. Spread over warm pie. Bake at 350° for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
