Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- salt - 2 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 qt
- eggs, beaten - 4 item
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- nuts optional - 1 c
- melted shortening - 1 c
- flour all-purpose - 5 c
- Raisin Bran or oat bran with raisins cereal - 6 c
How to make raisin bran muffins:
Mix dry ingredients in large bowl; mix wet ingredients together and add to dry mixture. Pour into greased muffin tins; bake at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes.Batter can be stored in a closed, sealed container in refrigerator for up to 6 weeks.
