Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- flour - 1 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- margarine - 1/2 c
- ground cloves - 1/4 tsp
- ground ginger - 1/2 tsp
- can evaporated milk - 1 item
- can pumpkin - 1 lb
- oats - 1/2 c
How to make pumpkin squares:
Preheat oven to 325°. Grease a 9 x 13-inch glass pan with a little margarine. Combine the flour, oats, brown sugar and margarine in a food processor and mix on low until crumbly. Press in the 9 x 13-inch pan and bake for 15 minutes.Combine the pumpkin, evaporated milk, eggs, sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger and cloves. Beat well and pour in the crust. Bake for 20 minutes. Mix the nuts, brown sugar and margarine. Sprinkle on top and bake 15 to 20 minutes or until filling is set. Cool in pan and serve with Cool Whip (with cinnamon mixed in).
